After several years of community campaigning, we secured a 25-year community lease in December 2025, and are now entering a crucial new phase: restoring and improving the site, building a team of staff and volunteers, and reopening the greenhouses as a safe and welcoming space for community food growing, education, resilience and wellbeing.

We spent the last three years negotiating and securing a long-term community lease to save the greenhouses and turn them into a thriving community growing hub for all.
Now we need your help to turn that vision into reality.
The previously abandoned greenhouses and outdoor space need essential repairs and upgrades to make them safe and welcoming, and a small dedicated team of people to keep the project going. Every donation goes directly towards the people and place that make this project possible.

After years of sitting empty, work is now underway to restore the greenhouse site. Already, more than 100 volunteers have rolled up their sleeves to help clear the site and the energy has been incredible. But we still need more helping hands and significant financial support to get there.
