Help Save Cutteslowe’s Greenhouses!
A thriving community space where people, nature, and food flourish together.
Community Growing in the Heart of Cutteslowe Park
Our mission is to restore and reopen Cutteslowe’s historic greenhouses to create a thriving community space where people connect with nature, food, and each other. Through growing, learning, shared meals, and nature workshops, we aim to improve wellbeing, strengthen local food resilience, and foster belonging, while shaping a sustainable food system for Oxford for generations to come.
We Need Your Help to Save Cutteslowe’s Greenhouses
Local volunteers are working hard to bring the old Cutteslowe Greenhouses back to life as an open, accessible and thriving community growing hub, a place where people can connect with nature, food and each other.
To reopen by Spring 2026, the structures and space need essential repairs to make them safe and welcoming for everyone. We’ve already made real progress in clearing the site, and now we’re asking the community to help us raise the £100,000 needed for the building work to begin.
Every donation brings us closer to restoring this much-loved space, preventing it from being knocked down or sold.
Please help us save the greenhouses and return them to the community!

After four years of sitting empty, work is now underway to restore the greenhouse site, making it safe, accessible, and ready for community use by Spring 2026.
Already, more than 40 volunteers have rolled up their sleeves to help us clear the site ahead of major restoration this autumn. But we still need more helping hands — and significant financial support.
There are lots of ways to join in: help at the Community Orchard, lend a hand on Plot #4, volunteer at our pop-up cafés, or come along to our seasonal events.
